Porter County Storm improved their current winning streak to 3 games Sunday against the Crown Point 16's by using a 6 run 1st inning and continuing to score after that; defeating Crown Point 12-5.

Offensivelly, Everyone got involved with a team total of 16 hits and a season low 6 strike outs during the game. "It was a great game for us offensively as we were able to bring most of the runners home that got on base", said Coach Doud. Pat Seller went...

Porter County Storm continued to improve and got a little revenge against Dyer Black, beating them 9-3 yesterday afternoon in Chesterton. The Storm struggled early falling to 3-0 deficit in the first 2 innings before they got the offense going. "At first it looked as if it was going to be a long day when we left the bases loaded in the first 2 innings. Bases loaded two innings in a row and only getting 1 run from that will take a mental toll on players. They responded well as...

Porter County Storm lost a tough game to Dyer Black last night with a final score of 5-2. All of Dyer's 5 runs were scored because of 3 fielding errors by the Storm. Dyer scored 4 runs in the 2nd inning and Porter County was never able to recover on a day of good pitching where fielding decided the fate.

Juan Monegro started the game and gave up 3 hits in 3 2/3 innings while allowing the 5 runs striking out 3 and walking 5. CJ Barratt came in relief and pitched a...

Porter County used good pitching and an 8-run 3rd inning to get their third win of the year. Tyler Devitte was the starting pitcher and got the win and Jason Frigo came in for the save.

Offensively it looked like it was going to be a long day after falling behind 2-0 after the first 2 innings. However, the 2nd time through the lineup was a lot better as Nick Diehl started off the big inning after reaching base on a fielding error; then...

In a tough battle from the beginning, Dyer ended up on top by scoring 2 runs in the extra inning and Porter County just couldn't get the offense going. Dyer had a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the 2nd when Jason Frigo hit a bases loaded double to tie the game at 3 a piece and that is where the offense stopped for both teams.

Steve Vespo pitched 5 scoreless innings coming in relief for starter CJ Barratt. Defensively, it was as good as a game as...

The Porter County Storm defeated Crown Point Friday night with a score of 9-6. This makes them 2-0 to open up the season, heading into Sunday's conference game against Dyer Red.

Once again, we saw a dynamic offensive team with another 4th inning explosion that scored 4 runs to put the Storm up 7-3 after a back and forth game. Brett Hill got the big inning started when he reached base on an infield error with 2 outs. This set up a 2-run Home...

The Storm got off to a great start last night with a good season opening victory as they beat Saint John 5-2 in a good defensive battle. The Storm used a big 4th inning to take the lead for good while adding one more in the 5th.

Jason Frigo got it started with a no out single and Chris Rodriguez followed suit. With men on 1st and 2nd Steve Vespo reached on fielder error to load the bases. Joe Dougherty then hit to get on base and scored one run. With the...
